Ann Thompson, Cheif Environmental Affairs Correspondent at NBC, and her crew followed Majora around the country over the last few weeks and was in the office just last week. She’s was wonderful to work with on what will surely be an inspirational piece about Majora, her past projects and present work with the Majora Carter Group. We’re extremely proud to be sharing our pioneering story – about unlocking the potential of so many places, communities and people – with so many folks.
It was really something to visit these communities – folks were so open and willing to really consider how environmental justice impacted their lives. Keep an eye on Chattanooga, great things are happening.
At the Majora Carter Group, we put an emphasis on the potential of every place. 825 Hunts Point Ave has certainly lived up to our expectations in such a beautiful and tangible way…don’t you think! We do.
Many of you have seen Majora’s TED talk from 2006 – but did you know she did another at TEDxKC recently – this time about the Majora Carter Group? There are a lot of new details and of course, there’s always something new to say about our work and our vision.
