Majora Carter and David Owen on the Future of Cities

green_metroMajora will be on the radio this Monday, December 1st at 8pm Eastern Time to discuss the book, “Green Metropolis” by David Owen.

Pick it up at your local bookstore (or you can buy it on Amazon) and tune in to the great discussion as part of the Progressive Book Club’s “Book Talk” – you can see who’s attending (and RSVP that you’ll be listening, too) here.

We’ll be talking about sustainable, economically thriving urban communities and more. The call in number is (866) 588-9261, so don’t be shy – call in and ask us questions! If you have questions ahead of time, you’re welcome to ask them at twitter.com/majoracarter or on facebook.com/majoracarter and use the hashtag #greenmetropolis. This is our first time using these forums, so we’re very excited!

Moderating the discussion will be Ilyse Hogue, campaign director for MoveOn.org, and former Program Director of the Rainforest Action Network.

Tune in at 8pm here!
